Deliveries and Returns

Please note:
We are an online store only. We do however plan to accomodate local pickups in the near future.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

In Stock Items:

  • Goods that are in stock will be dispatched within 2 working days subject to receipt of payment.
  • You will be emailed tracking information as soon as your order is shipped from our store.

Backorder Items:

  • Goods that are not in stock and have to be ordered will take approximately 15 – 40 working days to arrive, you will be notified by email of their arrival and the goods dispatched within 2 working days thereafter.
  • You will be emailed tracking information as soon as your order is shipped from our store.

SHIPPING OPTIONS

Shipping costs are calculated using your postal code, and will vary according to your location. If you would like to find out the shipping cost for your area, add any item to your cart, view your cart and click on “Calculate Shipping”.

[ Single Shipping / Backorders ] Option:
If your order contains both In Stock Items and Backorder Items this shipping option will allow you to pay one delivery fee, but your order will only be dispatched once all Backorder items have arrived.
[ Double Shipping – In Stock Items shipped separately from Backorders ] Option:
If your order contains both In Stock Items and Backorder Items this shipping option will allow you to have any In Stock Items dispatched within 2 working days of receipt of payment, and your Backorder Items dispatched within 2 working days after their arrival. This does require an additional delivery fee to be charged. You will be notified by email once all your Backorder items have arrived.

RETURNS

We strive to supply you with quality products. Most of our products go through rigorous testing by the manufacturers, but there are times when products just don’t work as planned. Due to the nature of the products, “tinkering” with components generally involves working with exposed electronics and subjecting them to power sources, tools, other hardware, interface cables and let’s not forget static electricity. Because of the specialised nature of what we sell, we have to get more information and potentially assess products before refunding or replacing any hardware.

If you feel that you would like to return a product, you will need to follow the below steps.

  • Send an email to returns@make.net.za explaining the reasons for your return.
  • We may need to troubleshoot the issue telephonically or over email to rule out certain things. It could turn out that a return is not necessary.
  • If it is determined that an assessment is in order, you will be responsible for returning the product to us. Any costs involved in returning the product will be furbished by you, the customer. The items will need to be in their original packaging and not damaged in any way.
  • Once we receive the product, it will be assessed and either a repair, replacement or refund will be issued. The return delivery for a valid repair or replacement will be free of charge. Please note that assessments can take up to 30 days but we will strive to have it sorted out within 10 working days.
  • Assessments will determine if faults were due to manufacturing or improper use. Should the product be deemed to be damaged due to any form of improper use or gross negligence by the customer it shall be sent back at his/her expense.
